Favorite All Time Movie!

So the other day I was flipping through some different TV channels, and happened to come across a movie channel. It had got me thinking about different movies, and I decided to share one of my favorites with you today!

I have always been into movies since I was little. When I was younger I actually wanted to be an actress, and have been in drama club since elementary school. I have been both acting in plays, and being a stagehand before. I have been in drama club all the way from 1st grade-Senior Year of High School. I loved it! Whenever we didn't have a play going on I would always watch movies. I love both the actual movie, and the behind the scenes stuff.

Its one of my dreams to work in the film industry but unfortunately for me my life has not taken me that route. That doesn't mean I can't enjoy it though! I still watch interviews with actors, and behind the scenes shots. More than ever actually!

Sorry I'm rambling, but you get the point! I love movies!

After talking to a few close friends, and family members a lot of them had similar responses. They all had a list of their top favorite movies, but could never pick just one! I am similar where I do have a lot of favorites, but there is one that stands out above the rest.

'The Breakfast Club" DUH!

Thats right! That is my all time and will forever be my favorite movie. Its an oldie, but a goodie! Its about a group of teens that get sent to detention for a variety of reasons, and come from all different back-rounds. They are all dramatically different people and have to deal with each other for pretty much the whole day. They all have different personalities, and different traits they slowly expose as the day does on. They even talk about their past which leads them all to the same conclusion at the end of the day. Don't judge a book by its cover.

This movie shows that people are not the typical stereotypes some people will claim others to be. It breaks down social barriers to reveal we are all just regular people. Everyone always has something going on. I very highly recommend it to anyone. It also has in my personal opinion, the best "theme song" and one of the best monologues in movie history. Which of course I will put down below for you! This music video plays not only the song put actual clips from the movie! It doesn't play any of the movie's audio though. Last but not least, one of the best monologues in movie history.

Brian: Dear Mr. Vernon, we accept the fact
that we had to sacrifice a whole
           Saturday in detention for whatever
it was we did wrong.  But we think
you're crazy to make an essay
telling you who we think we are.
You see us as you want to see us...
In the simplest terms, in the most
           convenient definitions. But what
we found out is that each one of
           us is a brain...
Andrew:     ...and an athlete...
Allison:     ...and a basket case...
Claire:   ...a princess...
Bender:...and a criminal...
Brian: Does that answer your question?
           Sincerely yours, the Breakfast Club.
