Favorite DC Hero!

So ever since I was little I've loved the idea of super heroes and villains. I mainly got into it because both of my older brothers were into it and they were "cool." So I automatically got into it and as I got older I really began to like it. I even began to like some of the villains too! Although it seems to have always been popular in pop culture they really have taken off the past few years. It's only going to get bigger from here! The next few years there are a ton of movies coming out from both DC and Marvel! So why not share one of my favorites with you? I have a ton of favorite superheroes and villains, but today I wanted to take to you about my favorite DC superhero! Raven! Also there is a slight SPOILER FOR THE "BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN" movie. Read with caution! You were warned!

So when I was little, my brothers and I would watch cartoons together. Since they were older they got to pick what channel we watched. It usually ended up being "Cartoon Network" which at the time had a ton of superhero cartoons, and they had cartoons on all the time. Where now every time I flip past that channel there is never a cartoon on! Most of the time when we were watching there was a cartoon called "Teen Titans" which had not one, but a group of superheroes.

I figured some of you would recognize them if I put a picture and described them. So starting from the very left you have Cyborg who is known for his strength. Which along with him being on this show was also teased in the new "Batman vs. Superman" movie. He is part man and part robot which is how he got the name Cyborg! More Info About Cyborg Here! Next up you have Robin! You will probably recognize him the most since he is known to be Batman's sidekick. Robin takes on the role as the leader of the group. More Info About Robin Here! The next guy you see is Beast Boy, and he can change into different animals. All of which tend to have a green tint just like his skin tone. He also tends to be the most humorous of the group.  More Info About Beast Boy Here! Next to him with red hair is Starfire. She is actually an alien from a different planet called Taraman. She uses her senses and emotions as fuel for her powers. More Info About Starfire Here!

Then last but certainly not least, we have Raven. Who in my opinion, is the best character and superhero in DC. Raven's character has a very deep and complicated past which is WAY too long for this blog post. In the show you slowly learn about it and her ties with her dad Trigon. (Who is considered on the villain's side) She is recognized as also being the most powerful out of all of the titans in the series. Personality wise she is mainly an introvert. She seems very quiet and often keeps to herself. She also tends to be very sarcastic especially when one of the other titans is trying to be funny. In great times of need she is always there for her friends no matter what is at stake. Which is one of the main reasons she was my favorite on the show. More Info About Raven Here!

Have you guys ever seen the show "Teen Titans"? If so, what did you think of it? Have any favorite characters on the show? What are your thoughts? Comment below!

I'M FREE! ...For now!

So as of Saturday, May 7, I am officially done with my Spring Semester of College. So I am free! For now! Until Summer semester starts which for me is right around the beginning of June. Luckily they are just 8 week classes so I will have another break before the Fall Semester starts.

For anyone that is curious I am currently attending a local community college close to where I live. I am trying to get as many classes as I can done their before transferring to a state college to get my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Then after I get my Bachelor's I am going to try to find a job in my career field and continue on with schooling to eventually get my Doctorates in something. I honestly haven't made up my mind yet but I know I want to do it. Its actually one of the things on my bucket list!

For people who don't know I actually go to college part time and work park time. Which is nice because it helps prepare me for the real world while still being able to real world experience. I also go to school year round by not only taking both Spring and Fall Semesters, but I also do Summer Semesters as well.

Now that the semester is over with I actually have some fun projects planned. I am currently building a headboard for my bed which I will make a post later on down the road. I will also be going extremely out of my comfort zone and start to film videos and put them up on my YouTube Channel Molly's Odyssey In other great news! I am also doing another creative project outside of my blog! I'm also going to be doing some marathons on Netflix and Hulu. If you have any suggestions for TV Shows and/or Movies please let me know! I would love to hear them!

I'm going to write a book! I know some of you probably saw that coming but I enjoyed my Creative Writing class so much this semester I thought I would write it. It is about one of my pieces I wrote earlier in the semester and was quite excited about it. I have already written the first chapter and am quickly wanting to write out more and more. I unfortunately am not going to release any details about it yet, but when I am in the process of trying to get an editor and/or publisher I will keep you updated!

Thank you guys so much for continuing to read my blog and stick with me on this crazy thing we call life! See ya next time!

TV Show: American Ninja Warrior

Hey guys! I hope everyone is having a good day. Today's post is about one of my absolute favorite TV Shows. American Ninja Warrior! So this show first start off over in Japan but quickly grew a fan base. A fan base so big they decided to bring it over here in America!

This summer will show their 8th season of the show, and amazingly enough. I got to be a part of it!!! Kind of!

So on April 24 there was a Health and Fitness Expo held in Indianapolis, Indiana that my dad and I attended. We were just walking around learning some new health and fitness tips. When we noticed there was a stage set up in the center of the room. Began to look at the schedule and noticed Matt Iseman was going to be speaking within the next hour. Matt Iseman is one of the hosts on American Ninja Warrior! My dad and I got a seat in the front so we could watch him talk.

Matt first began to talk about the history of the show which I already explained. Then proceeded to go into detail about what it actually is. Basically its an obstacle course that uses par-core and free-running to complete. Then went into the back story of how he became the host! Most of the interview I was able to film on my phone but I will try to find the actual full interview and link it down below.

My dad had also surprised me and got tickets to both nights it is filming in Downtown Indianapolis! Its right in the heart of the city in the place called Monument Circle! I unfortunately cant say much about the actual course, and how the contestants did due to a contract we signed.

This is a picture of the Monument on Monument Circle:

The little tent at the bottom center of this photo is how close we were in line:

But I am going to tell you and share with you as much as I can! Stay tuned for my future post "TV Show: American Ninja Warrior Part 2" where I will describe my experience watching the filming of the show! Do any of you guys watch it? If so I would love to hear what you think about it!
