My Morning Routine With Social Media!

So the other day at my job I was talking to someone and they happened to compliment me on my make-up. Which was very sweet! I actually get all of my tips and tricks from different people I follow on social media, and we quickly began to talk about it. As it turns out she follows the same people I do! I thought it was very cool how someone who I didn't know, or talk to until just the other day could connect with something so easy!

Apparently as time goes on this seems to be a common theme with people. Each and every day more and more people are flocking to social media to share their experiences and talents. Which I love! That is part of the reason I was happy to start a blog so I could share my experiences with others. The reason I happened to come across these people was because I was randomly flipping through Youtube or Instagram. So today I thought I would share with you a small part of my morning routine along with some of the people I follow!

So every morning when I wake up whether I have to work or not I always plan to wake up a little earlier than I need to. As soon as I wake up I turn off my alarm, and begin flipping through social media. While some people would discourage it I actually find it helps me. It helps my mind get woken up, and ready for the day, plus it usually puts me in a better mood. Usually between the different people I follow there is about 1-3 posts ready for me to view each morning. One of which is usually a video, but a good majority of the time its just photos on Instagram. Today I just wanted to mention a few people that I follow, and why I love following them. 

So Youtube wise the main people I follow are "Beauty Gurus" they talk about anything and everything from make-up, to skincare, to just other random things they love!

The first person that kinda got me on this trend is Jaclyn Hill who I absolutely love! I started following her anywhere from 3-4 years ago. (Honestly I think its been longer than that but I have no way of checking that.) I just happened to be getting into makeup, and was flipping through tutorials and came across her channel. Her attitude and personality is almost contagious as you watch her videos. I will link her Youtube Channel down below! I also included a picture of her holding one of her collaborations she did with Becca Cosmetics! They made a gorgeous highlighter called "Champagne Pop" the photo was taken from Allure.com!

Another person I follow who I honestly didn't discover until this past year is Manny! He also happens to be a "Beauty Guru" on Youtube. He posts about all kinds of different looks which makes me love watching his videos. His personality is very similar to Jaclyn's where he is very outgoing. Besides how well he does make-up I just loved watching his videos because of how funny he is, plus his make up is always gorgeous! I also put a picture of Manny below that shows him with his palette he collaborated with Makeup Geek! As you can see all of the colors are just as gorgeous as he is! The picture was actual taken from www.bustle.com and talks about 'dupes' you can get since his palette is sold out! (Hopefully they will restock in the future!)

The last person I'm going to talk about I didn't start following until about a few months ago. After watching a couple of Casey's videos I was hooked. Her name is Casey Holmes, and what I like about her channel is she tends to do more than just make-up even though I consider her a "Beauty Guru". She even does vlogs (video blogging) about her day to day life. She also will show you different shopping hauls. Which are honestly some of my favorite videos to watch! Plus she tries out different makeup products that people request. She puts down the money to go buy them and tests them out right in front of you. Which has helped me with my own purchases! It talks about one of her videos where she did a first impression on the Kat Von D Shade Light Palette.
