So all of this got started because I receive Bath and Body Works emails. They sent me an email advertising their three wick candles for $12.50 each, which is a pretty good deal. Plus they smell fantastic! So when I walked into the store there was another store called the White Barn. Apparently White Barn is an extension from Bath and Body Works. It was pretty neat on the inside of the store! It literally looks like a rustic barn when you walk inside. So I'm sure you're wondering what candle I got.
It got packaged in this cute White Barn bag and every purchase came with a pack of free matches! Sweet! The actual candle I had picked out is called Venice Peach Bellini. It smells like heaven. Imagine sitting on a beach somewhere tropical and you are sipping a Peach Bellini. It's fantastic!
But wait! There's more! Besides getting your matches free you even get a coupon as well! You get 20% off your entire next purchase March 14-April 17,2016 Valid IN STORE AND ONLINE!
So literally, the next day after I got off work I went back to my local mall. But instead of stopping at just one store I stopped at two. Wanna take a guess which stores I went to?
That's right! I went back to Bath and Body Works and I went to Sephora! So I went back to Bath and Body Works to look for some fragrance spray in the same scent as my candle. Although they did just launch quite a few new scents based on Italy they did not have the same scent in a fragrance spray. They did have something similar to it! Its called Pretty as a Peach and it has a light fresh peach scent. Its truly fantastic. (I might even like the scent better than my candle.) So I bought the fragrance spray, two foaming sugar scrubs (same scent), and two Venice Peach Bellini room sprays.
So, my next stop was to the local Sephora store in the mall. I needed to go there to get some new foundation, and honestly I can't ever pick the right shade for myself. EVER! I always pick a shade that's too dark for my skin tone. So why not have some experts help me out?
I got the Cover FX Cream Foundation (In the shade P20 if anyone is curious) and even picked up a couple other skin care needs as well. I got to try some of Josie Maran's products while I was there and loved them! I even got a couple of samples. One is the Becca Green Color Correcter, and the other was Josie Maran Whipped Argon Oil Face Butter, all of which I have used quite a bit and really like all of the products.
So that is it for my collective shopping haul. I put the links to both websites down below. I hope you guys enjoyed it and I will see you in my next post. Bye!
Hey Molly it's Nicole from your creative writing class and can I just say that I love the background of your blog first and foremost! Anyway I read about how you went shopping at bath and body works and other places that I have now just heard of. I know crazy right, anyway I can relate because I love bath and body works too because they all smell too good to be true! I'm also obsessed with candles because the fragrance is just amazing even when it differs. Now that I've read your blog I can finally go and try the stores to see if I can find better fragrances, candles and more! My step mom's birthday is coming up and from your blog it has already given me the perfect idea for a gift for her and of course myself! Thanks for sharing!!
