Hello Everyone!
I hope everyone is having an awesome day. I have some exciting news to share with everyone. It has been a VERY long time since I've posted on this platform, and I thought I would give everyone an update.
Life has been going great! I have a job that I absolutely love, I'm almost finished with school, I now own my own business, and I'm starting to get healthy. I know that was a lot to take in, and I will be updating everyone very soon on each aspect of my life. For now, I wanted to tell everyone about just one aspect.
I'm starting to get healthy. For real this time.
You know it's bad when you have to add in the disclaimer. *For real this time.* I have lived a very unhealthy life for most of my life. I finally just got fed up with it and decided to make some real changes, and lifelong ones at that. Because I'm so unhealthy there are a lot of things wrong with how I'm currently living. I didn't eat hardly any veggies or fish, my portion sizes were huge, and I snacked A LOT. I also didn't exercise, and my sleep schedule is nonexistent. I just began to have a very negative outlook on life, and pretty much everything around me. It was time for a change. Luckily for me, I found a great start.
I joined Weight Watchers, again. A couple years ago, I had joined Weight Watchers with a few girls I worked with. It was great! I naturally had a support system because they were doing it as well. Then life got crazy, I changed jobs, and I fell off the wagon. I had always wanted to start it again, but never made it a priority.
My boss at my new current job had been doing it for a few months, and it worked great for her. I loved seeing how happy she was doing it, so after her begging me for a month. I decided to join! One of our other coworkers decided to do it with us, and spoiler alert-it's been amazing. In the first couple weeks alone I dropped about 5 pounds. Although that's great, that's not the main reason I decided to join. I just wanted to feel my best. I feel significantly SOOO much better than before. It feels like my body had a hard reset, and now it's functioning a lot better than ever before.
In honor of me starting again, I thought that I would start a new tradition. Whenever I give an update on my way to a healthy life. I have to give everyone a healthy recipe. This first recipe is one my boss gave me when I first started Weight Watchers. I call it "Feisty Chicken."
Yup, you read that right, "Feisty Chicken."
1 pound of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast or Thighs
2 Cups of Fat Free Chicken Broth
1 Ranch Seasoning Packet
1 Taco or Fajita Seasoning Packet
Pour the chicken broth into a crock pot, and dump both seasoning packets in there. Mix it all together. Then add the chicken in. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. When finished shred the chicken, and BOOM! Feisty Chicken! It tastes like you just ordered it from a Mexican Restaurant. Its amazing! You can eat it in a variety of ways! You can add pico, and cheese, and put it over lettuce for an awesome salad. You can put it in Tupperware and take it to work (my personal choice), or add it to a tortilla. The possibilities are endless.
I personally will add more chicken than just 1 pound. But you can add however much you want, or keep it the same. For the original recipe it serves 2 people. Since I cook for just myself, I split it in half, and take it to work for lunch twice a week. I heat it up and eat that, then have fruit, and come cheese cubes with it, and I'm full.
Try it out and let me know how you guys like it! I hope you guys have an awesome day, and I'll talk to you guys soon!

Becoming A Titan Step 1: Starting The Journey
Hey guys! I originally wrote this post back in January, but for some reason it never posted! So here is my post back from the beginning of the year to keep you up to date with all of the crazy stuff going on in my life.
Hey guys! I hope you all have had an awesome time over the holiday season, and are having a great start to your new year. This time of year is always full of traditions, and I figured I could share one of mine with you guys. At the beginning of every year I come up with a list of things I am going to conquer in the next year. I personally like to set goals that I want to achieve this year, and every year I always have a theme. So this year I decided the theme would be all about health.
I know that seems vague, but within that theme I have super specific goals for certain aspects of my health. The different levels of health I'm going to focus on is: Physical, Mental, and Financial Health.
For my Physical Health the thing I wanted to conquer was getting healthy, getting a gym membership, and creating a workout schedule and routine. Luckily a lot of people have a new year's resolution to get fit, so a lot of companies will launch specials. I cant afford a lot of money towards a gym membership each month. I had some extra money I had saved up from Christmas to put down towards a gym membership. After looking through a bunch of local gym specials the one that fit best for my budget was Planet Fitness. So they had a deal where if you put $1 for the regular membership, and $6.06 for the Black Card Membership. Then you would pay the next couple months at regular price, and then on the third month that would charge you the $40.99 for either membership. So if its the same cost for the annual membership, why not get the better one? So I called my local Planet Fitness membership to make sure that was correct, and they confirmed it was. So I ended up going with the Black Card Membership. You get a ton of extra perks, and I get to bring a friend with me for free each time I go. Which will make me more motivated to go. I went ahead and included a link for you guys to go check it out. Although they aren't running any specials right now, from my personal experience they do run specials often. Plus in my area they are one of, if not, the cheapest option besides working out at home. You guys should check it out!
Planet Fitness Gym
So next on my list was Mental Health. When it comes to my busy schedule it is easy for me to get, and stay stressed out. I'm one of those people that I always having to be busy doing something. Which is great because I'm more productive, and get more stuff done. However, I hardly ever take time to just relax. So for my mental health I decided I would go on four experiences this year. Luckily I had already planned a couple of these. I actually have definitely three experiences for this year. The others just depend if I can get off for work or not. Here is my list of events:
-John Mulaney Stand Up-Kid Gorgeous (Completed January 17, 2018)
-American Ninja Warrior- April 29 & 30, 2018 (Depending on if tickets are available!)
-Kesha & Mackelmore Concert-July 19, 2018 (Confirmed)
-Gen Con-August 2-5 (Confirmed)
-Fall Out Boy Concert- October 7, 2018 (Depending on if we can get tickets!)
For these experiences because I know about them and plan them ahead of time it makes it so much easier to actually set aside time for them. When I actually stop to take time, and go to these events I always have a great time. It gives my body and mind a nice reset. Then once the event is done it makes my mind more focused and makes me more productive at work. The biggest event I am looking forward to is Gen Con. Which you guys will hear more about the closer it gets to the actual event. If you guys want to check it out you can go to their website which is linked below!
Gen Con
The last part in the list of things I want to conquer in 2018 is my Financial Health. I know this sounds silly, but it really is an important thing that I want to accomplish. I think its super important to have great financial health, and that goes beyond just having a savings account. To conquer this I have created an updated budget for myself. With that I realized I spent a lot more money than what I originally thought I did. So along with making that updated budget I recently got a second job. I do school online so it makes it pretty flexible for me to be able to do that. I am in the process of getting a new car, so the extra money helps with this important goal of mine. If you guys want to see what tools I used to help me budget let me know, and I can make a post all about that.
I hope you guys have had a great start to the year already. Mine has been supper exciting and productive so far. Have a great rest of your night or day, and I will talk to you guys soon! :)

Vloggers, AMSR, and Youtube in General
Hey guys! I hope you're having an awesome day. Its been a while since I posted because I've been busy between work and school. But I wanted to update you guys on some new videos I have come across on Youtube. For those of you that have been here a while know that I love make-up tutorials. Although I love make-up videos I also like to step out of my comfort zone, and try something different.
One of the first set of videos I came across was ASMR videos. At first I was skeptical about it, but once I gave it a chance I fell in love with it. ASMR is Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. How it works is the youtuber will make a variety of movements or sounds. Usually a certain sound or movement will trigger one of your senses, and you will feel tingles run down your head or back. Its a form of deep relaxation. Quite a few people watch it before they go to bed to help them sleep. I've started doing it and its a part of my daily nighttime routine. The link below is one of my all time favorite ASMR Youtubers. She is fantastic! She is always doing creative things on her channel, and she posts very frequently. Check her out!
Cordelia Charter's ASMR Channel
The other type of Youtube channel I came across was a Vloggers channel. I didn't realize how many vloggers there are! I was in the middle of watching yet another make up video when I noticed someone had a vlog about their trip to Hawaii. I watched one video and I was sold. Her name is Remi and she actually has a main channel where her Youtube career started. I discovered her through her vlog channel and follow her on both of her channels. But her vlog channels are definitely my favorite.
Remi's Vlog Channel
Remi's Main Channel
The last new Youtube channel I have come across is actually a fitness channel. I never would have expected myself to end up following a fitness channel, but the reason why won't surprise you. So when I came across her channel I had actually thought I recognized her and possible knew her. As it turns out I was partially right. She actually used to work for Buzzfeed! So I recognized her from her videos she would be in on Buzzfeeds Channel. Since she wanted to start creating her own content she left Buzzfeed and has her own channel. She mainly focusses on fitness, but has lots of other types of videos on her channel as well. Go check her out!
Michelle Klare's Channel
So those are the new Youtubers I have been watching recently. Do you guys have any recommendations for channels for me to check out? Leave a comment below! Thank you guys so much for reading my post. I hope you guys have a great rest of your day. See ya next time!

My Experience With Weight Watchers
Hey guys! I hop you're having an awesome summer wherever you are at. I wanted to tell you guys about an awesome experience I've been having for several weeks now. It's about my weight loss journey! So some of you may know that I have been struggling to lose weight for a while now. I have been overweight my whole life. I have tried so many diets, and weird workouts. There have been so many I have honestly lost count at this point, and basically gave up after a while.
So what made me start Weight Watchers? My job! So the company I work for gave us an opportunity to sign up at a discounted rate. With this special package we got 14 weeks of both the digital tools online and the weekly meetings as well. I was a little bit skeptical at first. I had seen the commercials, and the ads. Most of the time when there is something advertising weight loss, and how you can have super dramatic results in a month, or anything less than that. Its bogus. It doesn't work. If it does, its because you picked up a healthy habit in the process of doing whatever you're used to doing. But everyone that I work with was doing it so I thought I would do it too.
So we found a local meeting near us by going to the Weight Watchers website. Once we found a time that worked for us, we all went together. They started out by checking you in, and you have your first weigh in. You also talk to them about your goals, and what you wish to accomplish with weight watchers. They gave us a bunch of starting pamphlets, and papers to have us reference as well. Then we went into the meeting. So when we went to the actual meeting portion I was dreading it. I figured it would be a mix of getting lectured about eating bad, and a cheesy inspirational speech. What happened instead was something different. They have a different message each week along with tips and tools to go along with it. When we started it was about getting more activity in your daily activities. I learned a lot of great pointers and tips that I still use every day. After the meeting they sit down with all of the new members, and teach them the basics of the program.
So here is how it works:
-You go in and get your initial weigh-in weight.
-You discuss with them your goals and the time frame you wish to achieve them.
-Based on that info they gave you two numbers. Your daily points and your weekly points.
-Your daily points is how much food you can eat in a day. Your weekly points is if you go over your daily points its an extra allowance you can use throughout the week.
-Each food has a specific point value except for veggies and fruits. Those are 0 points and you can eat however much of them you want.
-The minimum amount of points they want you to eat per day is 30. As long as you stay in between 30 and your designated point value you're fine.
-Lastly, see the weight fall off.
So how did my experience go? It was fantastic! Over the course of the 14 weeks I lost over 10 pounds! One thing I do want people to know is what makes this program successful is the amount of work you put into it. If you don't follow the program or do what they tell you to do then you won't see any results. If you stick to your daily points, and follow everything correctly you will be very successful on the program.
Lets get down to the question I know you guys are going to ask me. Would I do it again? The short answer is yes. However, I personally can't afford the monthly cost. If I ever am able to afford the monthly cost of it then I will totally sign up again for it. I highly recommend you sign up, and give it a try.
I hope you guys enjoyed reading my experience with Weight Watchers. If you guys have any questions about it feel free to ask! Have any of you guys tried Weight Watchers? If so, what was your experience with it? I hope you guys have a great rest of your day, and I'll see ya next time!

Newest Adventure! Turning 21! Happy New Year!
Hey everybody! I hope you guys are having an awesome night or day wherever you are. It has been a while since I last posted so I figured I would bring everyone up to date. A lot has happened since we last spoke. So grab a cup of coffee or tea, and get comfy. It's going to take a while to catch up.
So in one of my last posts I had talked about my Youtube channel. Which I am still working on, but its taking way longer than expected. I'm running into a lot of hurdles, and I'm overcoming them. Its just taking a little while. But it is coming! I just don't know the time frame unfortunately. It will happen! I will update you as soon as I get it figured out!
In other news I have also been very busy between school, and work just like everyone else. I've also realized something interesting this year. It seems that every year you grow older time seems to move faster! It literally just slips by! Can you believe we are already past the holiday season? Thanksgiving and Christmas just flew past, and just the other day we celebrated New Years!
The main reason I am writing this post is because in my absence I celebrate a milestone. On October 23 I celebrated my 21st birthday! I had such a fun birthday! I actually celebrated quite a bit throughout the whole week because I took a vacation from work the same week of my birthday. I am the youngest one in my family so me turning 21 was a big deal. I can finally go to a casino, go to more concerts, go into more restaurants, go to comedy shows, and oh yea, drink alcohol! For me honestly the alcohol isn't that big of a deal. Don't get me wrong its neat I can finally drink it, and experience it just like everyone else. The other things just seemed more appealing to me. Plus its just another sign that I am becoming an adult.
So how did we celebrate? We went on a little trip! My parents had talked about for months taking me somewhere. So when the time came we had decided to go to a Casino in Florence, Indiana called "Belterra Casino" where the actual casino is on a boat. We stayed at their hotel that was connected to it. We had a fantastic time! If you want a more detailed description of what I did please read below:
First things first, we had to drop our things off in our hotel room. Once we got there and got settled in it wasn't even 5 minutes before we had a knock on our door. I knew it couldn't have been my parents because they were getting settled in still. I looked through the little peephole, and it was someone that worked there. I opened up the door and they had a vase of roses in their hands. The staff gave it to me for my 21st birthday! I thought that was so sweet! Even after our trip was over I brought them home and they lived for another week. It was a pretty neat gift!
After that we went down to one of the restaurants to grab a bite to eat. It was a long drive, and we were all hungry at that point. So the restaurant was actually inside the hotel, and it was sports themed. It was similar to a Buffalo Wild Wings, but had more of a pub feel to it. We all got a mix of different things to eat. All the way from a huge pretzel and beer cheese, to a Reuben sandwich, to soup! All of it was very good, and we all got huge portions. I even had a margarita that had orange juice in it. Which after drinking at multiple places that actually can be a pretty common ingredient in it. If you guys haven't tried it I highly recommend it.
After that we were off to the casino! The casino is on a boat that's permanently docked, and is always connected to the hotel. After they carded me I made my way through and got my first casino membership card. Whenever you go to a casino always try to get a membership card. You should be able to earn points and rewards which you can cash in on other items. At Belterra they gave us $5 casino cash that we could spend either in the shops, or on gambling in the casino. At another casino in Indiana they gave me a book of coupons I can use however I want the first 90 days of having my points card. Well long story short we kept going back and forth between eating, and gambling. We were finally done for the night. We finally went to bed to get ready for our trip back home the next day.
Before we left I decided to take a walk through several of the shops that are inside the hotel. Which are conveniently by the front door so you see it right when you come in, and right before you leave. So I wanted to buy something to remember my trip by. I normally have tea about once a day. So I figured some kind of cup or mug would be good. After I found the perfect one I decided to go through one last shop before I leave. So I have seen commercials for Pandora stuff before but paid very little attention to it. I never thought I would be able to afford anything, so why pay attention to it? Well I love rings and decided to take a look at what they had to offer. Well of course I found one I liked, and I was surprised at the price. The ring I wanted was $45. Which is more expensive then anything I've ever bought before. But compared to how much other rings cost it wasn't expensive at all. I had won money from the casino the day before so I decided to get it too. It was my 21st birthday after all, and I wanted something special to remember it by!
The rest of my week was filled with going to my college classes, going to different casinos, relaxing from work, spending time with loved ones, and having a blast! I had a fantastic time and can't wait for many more birthdays to come. This year I was fortunate that besides spending it with my family and friends at home, I also have you guys! Thank you guys so much for checking in, and following me on this crazy journey we call life. I'm very thankful for each and everyone of you.
Thank you guys so much for stopping by. Thank you for sticking with me throughout 2016, and lets have another awesome year! Happy New Year!

My First Week Of College!!! (Kinda)
Hey guys! I hope you guys have had an awesome start to the school semester. Mine was very different this year and I wanted to share it with you guys! So this fall I started at a new college! I switched to IUPUI, and I am loving it! Right now we are about the fourth week in and its taking me a while to get settled in. There was quite a few bumps along the road in the first week but Ive learned to overcome them.
So I have classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The week before I had driven up to the campus and walked around to find all of my classes. I even picked out the best parking garage and practiced going through it. I was going to be prepared for my first day! The night before I had double checked my email for classes and had gotten my backpack ready.
So I had left my house an hour before class was supposed to start. So I had pulled up to the garage I was supposed to park in and it was full. Not only was that parking garage full, but every single parking garage was full. All of the other student lots around me were full as well. So due to me driving around I had wasted a lot of time. Luckily there was a local hospital nearby so I parked in their guest parking garage. At that point I only had 15 minutes to get to class so I ran there. I was the dork that had the backpack violently swinging back and forth as I ran to class. Luckily I got there on time, but there was only one seat open in the very back. The rest of the class went great, along with me getting to my other classes.
Hopefully your first day of school went easier for you than mine did! Despite my little hiccup I was able to find a parking lot and take a shuttle to class. I've had some pretty amazing experiences so far and have met lots of great people. Hopefully this adventure gets even better! I hope you guys have a great day and an even better school year!

Life Update! (College, Surgery, and Upcoming Projects!)
Hey guys! Long time no see! I'm sorry about my absence, but a lot has happened. I wanted to share it with you guys. I've had some changes with my schooling, had surgery, and have been working on some upcoming projects. I've been really busy lately!
Work and School:
So some of you may know that I work, and go to college for pretty much year round. I don't take any breaks off during the summer. I continue to take classes. I work part time and USED to go to a local community college. My goal has always been to get my Bachelors in Business and Accounting, but my community college only offers certificates and Associate degrees. Well my plan was to go there, and get as many classes as I could there. Then I was going to transfer to IUPUI. It was a way cheaper option than doing my whole degree at IUPUI. Well I have been in the transferring process for a while now. I have been officially accepted to IUPUI! I had my orientation on July 13. I am officially an IUPUI Jaguar! I'm so excited to start this journey, and I cant wait to share it with you guys! Later on down the road I'm going to do a little tour of the campus, and talk more about it later on.
Surgery:
So after my orientation (literally the next day) I had both of my upper wisdom teeth surgically removed. Which required me to lay low, and rest for the next few days. I was so sleepy afterwards I just really didn't want to do anything besides lay around. Which is why I haven't posted for a while!
Upcoming Projects:
I also have been working on some projects not only for the blog but for my youtube channel as well! I am going to start not only blogging, but posting videos on youtube! I'm super excited to start this new opportunity, and share it with you guys. A lot of new things are coming up fast, and I hope you stay with me on this journey. I'm so excited to show you guys what all I've been planning! Have a great rest of your day! Talk to you soon!
